Heating and Air Conditioning
1. Start the engine.
2. Set the mode to the desired position. For maximum heating and cooling efficiency, select:
- Heating:.gif)
- Cooling:.gif)
3. Set the temperature control to the desired position.
4. Set the air intake control to the outside (fresh) air position.
5. Set the fan speed control to the desired speed.
6. If air conditioning is required, turn the air conditioning system on.
Mode Selection

Face Level (B, C, E)
.gif)
Airflow is directed to the upper body and face. In addition, each vent can be adjusted to direct air discharged from the vent.
Bi-Level (B, C, D, E, F)

Airflow is directed to the face and floor.
Floor Level (A, B, D, E, F)

Most of the airflow is directed to the floor, with a small amount of air directed to the windshield and side window defrosters.
Floor/Defrost Level (A, B, D, E, F)

Most of the airflow is directed to the floor and windshield, with a small amount directed to the side window defrosters.
Front Heater (A, B)

Most of the airflow is directed to the windshield, with a small amount of air directed to the side window defrosters.
MAX A/C Level (B, C, E)
.jpg)
MAX A/C mode is used to cool the interior of the vehicle faster. Airflow is directed to the upper body and face.
In this mode, the air conditioner is on and the recirculated air mode is selected. Turn the fan speed control to adjust.

Instrument Panel Vents
The instrument panel air vents can be directed up/down or left/right using the vent adjustment lever. The airflow can also be CLOSED by raising the vent adjustment.
Temperature Control

The temperature will increase when the knob is turned to the right. The temperature will decrease when the knob is turned to the left.
Air Intake Control
Used to select the outside (fresh) air position or the recirculated air position. To change the air intake control position, press the control button.
Recirculated Air Position
.gif)
When the recirculated air position is selected, air from the interior will be drawn through the heating system and heated or cooled according to the selected function.
Outside (Fresh) Air Position
.gif)
When the outside (fresh) air position is selected, air is drawn into the vehicle from outside and heated or cooled according to the selected function.
Information
Using the system in fresh air mode is recommended.
Running the heater continuously in the recirculated air position (without air conditioning) may cause the windshield and side windows to fog up, and the air inside the vehicle will become stale.
Also, prolonged use of air conditioning in recirculation mode will cause excessively dry air inside the vehicle.
WARNING
- Continuous operation of the climate control system in the recirculated air position may allow humidity inside the vehicle to increase, which may fog the glass and reduce visibility.
- Do not sleep in the vehicle with the air conditioning or heating system on. This may result in serious injury or death due to reduced oxygen levels and/or body temperature.
- Continuous operation of the climate control system in the recirculated air position may cause drowsiness, and loss of vehicle control. Set the air intake control to the outside (fresh) air position as much as possible while driving.
Fan Speed Control
.jpg)
Turn the knob clockwise to increase the blower speed and airflow. Turn the knob counterclockwise to decrease the blower speed and airflow.
Set the blower speed control knob to the "0" position to turn off the blower.
NOTICE
Adjusting the blower speed when the ignition switch is in the ON position may discharge the battery. Adjust the blower speed while the engine is running.
Air Conditioning (A/C)
