Power Windows

~1min read

The ignition switch must be in the ON position to raise or lower the windows. Each door has a power window switch to control that door's window. The driver has a power window lock switch that can disable the operation of the passenger windows. The power windows will continue to work for approximately 3 minutes after the ignition switch is turned OFF, or while the ignition switch is in the ACC position, until the front doors are opened.

If either front door is opened, battery power is turned off and the power windows will not operate.

Opening and Closing the Window

To open:

Press the power window switch down to the first detent (5). Release the switch when you want the window to stop.

Closing:

Pull the power window switch up to the first detent (5). Release the switch when you want the window to stop.

Automatic Window Down

Briefly pressing the power window switch down to the second detent (6) fully lowers the window, even if the switch is released.

To stop the window at a desired position while it is moving, pull up or press down and release the switch.

Automatic Up/Down Windows

Press or pull the window switch briefly to the second detent (6) to fully lower or raise the window, even after the switch is released. To stop the window at a desired position while it is moving, pull up or press down and release the switch.
