Emergency Stop Signal

~1min read

The emergency stop signal warns drivers of following vehicles by flashing the brake lights when the vehicle stops suddenly or when the ABS is activated during braking. (The system activates when vehicle speed exceeds 55 km/h and the vehicle decelerates at more than 7 m/s² or the ABS is activated during emergency braking.) The brake lights turn off when vehicle speed drops below 40 km/h and the ABS deactivates, or when the situation causing the sudden stop ends.
