Snow Chains
In this manual: Operating the Vehicle
~1min read

Because the sidewalls of radial tires are thinner, they can be damaged when certain types of chains are installed. For this reason, winter tires are recommended instead of snow chains. Do not install chains on aluminum wheels, which can be damaged by chains. If chains are necessary, use wire-type chains less than 12 mm (0.47 in) thick. The manufacturer's warranty does not cover vehicle damage resulting from improper use of snow chains.
Snow chains should be installed on the front tires only.
