Automatic Reverse

~1min read

If the power sunshade or sunroof glass detects any obstacle while closing, it reverses direction and then stops.

The automatic reverse function may not operate if a thin or soft object is caught between the sliding sunshade or sunroof glass and the sunroof frame.

WARNING

  • Make sure heads, hands, arms, other body parts, or objects are clear of the sunroof before operating it. Body parts or objects may be caught, causing injury or vehicle damage.
  • Never intentionally use body parts to test the automatic reverse function.

NOTICE

  • Do not keep pressing the sunroof switch after the sunroof is fully open, fully closed, or tilted. The sunroof motor may be damaged, or the motor or sunroof system may malfunction.
  • Using the sunroof for a long period may produce noise due to dust accumulated between the sunroof and the vehicle body. Open the sunroof regularly and remove dust with a clean cloth.
  • Do not try to open the sunroof when the temperature is below freezing or when the sunroof is covered with snow or ice. Otherwise, the motor may be damaged. In cold and humid weather, the sunroof may not operate properly.
  • Do not open or operate the sunroof glass immediately after rain or car washing. Water may soak the vehicle interior.
  • Do not extend cargo outside the sunroof while driving.

WARNING

Do not extend your head, hands, body parts, or objects outside the sunroof while driving.
