Inspection

  1. Check the CKPS and CMPS signal waveform using the GDS.

    Specification: Refer to "Waveform"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A) and remove the sensor (B) by loosening the mounting bolt.

Installation
  • Install the component with the specified torque.
  • Be aware that internal damage may occur if the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect it before installation.
  • Apply engine oil to the O-ring.
  • Insert the sensor into the installation hole, being careful not to damage it.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal. Crankshaft Position Sensor Mounting Bolt: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m
