Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the IAT sensor connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the IAT sensor.
  4. Make sure the resistance is within specification.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor connector (A).
  3. Loosen the mounting bolt (B) and remove the sensor from the surge tank.

Installation
  • Install the component with the specified torque.
  • Note that internal damage may occur if the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect it before installation.
  • Insert the sensor into the installation hole, being careful not to damage it.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal. Intake air temperature sensor mounting bolt: 9.8 ~ 11.8 N·m
