Description
The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) detects the crankshaft position and is one of the most important engine control system sensors. If there is no CKPS input signal, the engine may stall due to No CKPS Signal. This sensor is installed on the ladder frame and generates an AC voltage by the magnetic flux field created by the sensor and the target wheel as the engine rotates. The target wheel consists of 58 slots and 2 missing slots at 360 CA (Crank Angle).
