Rear Combination Lamp Replacement

Stop Light / Tail Light (Exterior)

1. Turn off the engine.

2. Open the tailgate.

3. Loosen the light unit mounting screws using a Phillips screwdriver.

4. Remove the rear combination light assembly from the vehicle body.

5. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning it counterclockwise until the protrusions on the socket align with the slots in the assembly.

6. Remove the bulb from the socket by pushing and turning it counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb align with the slots in the socket. Pull the bulb out of the socket.

7. Install a new bulb by inserting it into the socket and turning it until it locks into place.

8. Install the socket into the assembly by aligning the tabs on the socket with the grooves in the assembly. Press the socket into the assembly and turn the connector clockwise.

9. Install the light unit back into the vehicle body.

Tail Light (Interior)

1. Turn off the engine.

2. Open the tailgate.

3. Remove the service cover using a flat-blade screwdriver.

4. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning it counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots in the assembly.

5. Remove the bulb from the socket. Press and turn it counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb align with the slots in the socket. Pull the bulb out of the socket.

6. Install the new bulb by inserting it into the socket and turning it until it locks into place.

7. Install the socket into the assembly by aligning the tabs on the socket with the grooves in the assembly. Press the socket into the assembly and turn it clockwise.

8. Install the light unit into the vehicle body.

Turn Signal / Back-up Light

1. Turn off the engine.

2. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots on the assembly.

3. Remove the bulb from the socket. Press it in, turn it counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb align with the slots in the socket, then pull the bulb out of the socket.

4. Install a new bulb by inserting it into the socket and turning it until it locks into place.

Stop Lamp and Tail Lamp / Back-up Lamp / Rear Side Marker Lamp (LED)

If the LED indicator does not work, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer for replacement.

The LED light cannot be replaced as a single unit. A qualified technician should inspect or repair the LED light, as improper handling may damage related vehicle parts.
