The recirculation mode is automatically activated to reduce the odor of washer fluid entering the cabin when the windshield washer is used.

An unpleasant odor may come into the vehicle when switching to recirculation mode.

However, in cold weather, recirculation mode cannot be selected to prevent the windshield from fogging.

Turning Washer Fluid Recirculation ON or OFF

Climate Control System

To turn the Activate When Washer Fluid Is Used function on or off, select the "Floor" mode () mode, and then press the air intake control () four times within two seconds while pressing the A/C button.

When Activate When Washer Fluid Is Used is turned on, the air intake control button indicator will flash 6 times. When turned off, the indicator will flash 3 times.

Infotainment System

Activate When Washer Fluid Is Used can be turned on and off by selecting Settings > Vehicle > Climate > Air Recirculation > Activate When Washer Fluid Is Used in the settings menu.
