Trailer Sway Assist (TSA)
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read
Trailer Sway Assist works like Electronic Stability Control. It stabilizes the vehicle and trailer when the trailer sways or oscillates. In most cases, trailer sway occurs at high speeds.
Factors that may cause trailer sway include:
- High speed
- Strong crosswind
- Improper loading
- Sudden steering inputs
- Uneven road surfaces
When Trailer Sway Assist detects sway, the front brakes are applied automatically. If braking is not sufficient, the brakes are applied automatically to all wheels and engine power is reduced.
