STARTING AND OPERATING

Adaptive Cruise Control Stop and Go Operation (Automatic Transmission Only)

~1min read

If the ACC system brings your vehicle to a stop while following a vehicle ahead, your vehicle will resume motion without any driver interaction if the vehicle ahead begins to move within two seconds after your vehicle comes to a stop. If the target vehicle does not begin to move within two seconds after your vehicle stops, the ACC Stop system will turn off and the brakes will release. A cancellation message will appear in the instrument cluster display and a warning chime will sound. Driver intervention will be required at this point.

While ACC with Stop holds your vehicle stationary, if the driver's seat belt is unbuckled or the driver's door is opened, the ACC Stop system will turn off and the brakes will release. A cancellation message will appear in the instrument cluster display and a chime will sound. Driver intervention will be required at this point.
