ParkSense Rear Park Assist System Service
During vehicle startup, when the ParkSense Rear Park Assist System detects a fault condition, the instrument cluster display will sound a single chime once per ignition cycle, and it will display "PARKSENSE UNAVAILABLE REAR SENSORS WIPE" or "PARKSENSE UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED".
When the gear selector is in REVERSE and the system has detected a fault condition, the instrument cluster display will show "PARKSENSE UNAVAILABLE REAR SENSORS WIPE" or "PARKSENSE UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED" as long as the vehicle is in REVERSE. Under this condition, ParkSense will not operate.
If "PARKSENSE UNAVAILABLE REAR SENSORS WIPE" appears in the instrument cluster display, make sure the outer surface and lower side of the rear fascia/bumper are clean and free of snow, ice, mud, dirt, and other obstructions, then turn the ignition off. If the message continues to appear, see an authorized dealer.
If "PARKSENSE UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED" appears in the instrument cluster display, see an authorized dealer.
