Never exceed the maximum tongue weight stamped on the bumper or trailer hitch.

Weight Distribution

Consider the following items when calculating the rear axle load of the vehicle:

• Weight of the trailer tongue.
• The weight of any other cargo or equipment installed in or on your vehicle.
• Weight of the driver and all passengers.

NOTE:

Remember that everything placed in or on the trailer increases the load on the vehicle. Also, additional factory or dealer-installed options must be considered as part of the total load of your vehicle. Refer to the Tire and Loading Information label for the maximum total passenger and cargo weight for your vehicle.
