System Settings
The driver can change LKA to Lane Departure Warning (LDW) or change the LKA mode by selecting "Settings > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Lane Safety > Lane Keeping Assist/Lane Departure Warning/Off" on the infotainment system screen.
Lane Keeping System
LKA mode assists the driver in keeping the vehicle within the lane. It rarely controls the steering wheel when the vehicle is traveling well within the lane. However, it starts controlling the steering wheel when the vehicle is about to deviate from the lane.
LDW warns the driver with a visual and audible warning when the system detects the vehicle leaving the lane. In this mode, the steering wheel is not controlled. When the front wheel of the vehicle touches the inner edge of the lane line, the contact line will be displayed on the LCD.
Off
If you select "Off," the same result occurs by pressing and releasing the Lane Safety button (
