3-Point Rear Center Seat Belt

To Fasten the Rear Center Seat Belt
1. Disconnect the mini tongue from the holder, then remove the tongue plate from the opening in the belt assembly cover and slowly pull the tongue plates out of the retractor.
WARNING - Cargo
Make sure the cargo is securely fastened at the rear of the cargo area. Failure to do so may result in damage to the rear center seat belt in a sudden stop or certain collisions.

2. Insert the mini tongue (A) into the open end of the mini buckle (C) until it stops. A distinct click will sound, indicating that the latch is locked. Make sure the belt is not twisted.

3. Pull the tongue (B) and insert it into the open end of the buckle (D) until a click sounds, indicating that the latch is locked. Make sure the belt is not twisted.
CAUTION
When using the rear center seat belt, the buckle marked "CENTER" must be used.
A click will sound when the tongue latches into the buckle. The seat belt automatically adjusts to the correct length only after you manually adjust the lap belt so that it fits snugly over your hips. If you lean forward slowly and gently, the belt will extend and allow you to move. In the event of a sudden stop or impact, the belt will lock in place. It will also lock if you attempt to lean forward quickly.
WARNING
When using the rear center seat belt, all tongues and buckles must be latched. If any tongue plate or buckle is not latched, the risk of injury in a collision increases.

To unfasten the rear center seat belt
1. Press the release button on the buckle (D) and remove the tongue (B) from the buckle (D).

2. To retract the rear center seat belt, insert a thin rigid tool such as a key or similar object into the webbing release opening (C). Pull up the seat belt webbing (A) and allow the belt to retract automatically.

3. Insert the tongue into the opening, then attach the mini tongue to the holder.
