Lap Belt

To fasten the seat belt:
To fasten the two-point static seat belt, insert the metal tongue (1) into the buckle (2). A click will be heard when the tongue latches into the buckle. Make sure the belt is properly latched and not twisted.

The length of the two-point static seat belt must be adjusted manually so that it fits snugly against your body. Fasten the belt and pull the free end to tighten it. The belt should be positioned as low as possible on the hips (1), not on the waist. If the belt is too high, the likelihood of injury in an accident may increase.
When using the rear center seat belt, the buckle marked "CENTER" must be used.

To unfasten the seat belt:
To unfasten the seat belt, press the button (1) on the buckle.
WARNING
The center lap belt latching mechanism differs from the rear shoulder seat belt latching mechanism. When fastening the rear seat or center lap belts, make sure they are inserted into the correct buckles to ensure maximum protection from the seat belt system and proper operation.
