Floor Mat Anchor(s)

When using a floor mat in the front floor carpet, make sure it is secured to the floor mat anchors in the vehicle. This prevents the floor mat from sliding forward.
WARNING: Aftermarket floor mats
Do not install aftermarket floor mats that cannot be securely fastened to the vehicle's floor mat anchors. Unsecured floor mats may interfere with the pedal controls.
CAUTION
- Be sure to remove all protective film attached to the carpet before attaching the floor mat to the front floor carpet. Otherwise, the floor mat may slide on the protective film, which may cause unintended braking or acceleration.
- Since volatile organic compounds may be continuously generated from various types of protective film attached to protect the interior materials, be sure to remove it.
The following must be observed when installing ANY floor mat in the vehicle.
- Make sure floor mats are securely fastened to the vehicle body floor mat anchor(s) before driving the vehicle.
- Do NOT use ANY floor mats that cannot be securely fastened to the vehicle body floor mat anchors.
- Do not stack floor mats on top of each other (for example, an all-weather rubber mat on top of a carpet mat). Only one floor mat should be installed in each position.
✽ NOTICE
Your vehicle was manufactured with driver's side floor mat retainers designed to securely hold the floor mat in place. To avoid any interference with the pedals, Kia recommends that only a floor mat designed to fit your vehicle be installed.
