USB Charger

The vehicle USB charger allows drivers to charge their digital devices, such as smartphones and tablets. Connect the device to the USB port using a manufacturer-certified cable to start charging.
Power is supplied to the vehicle USB charger in the ACC or ON position. To prevent battery discharge, connect digital devices to the USB port only with the ignition ON. Use the display screen of the connected device to check its charging status. Your smartphone or tablet may become warm during charging.
This does not affect the life or function of the device. For safety reasons, charging will stop if the battery becomes overheated or if temperatures fall below freezing and affect the device. Not all devices are supported by the USB charger, and additional adapters may be required.
CAUTION
- Use the vehicle USB charger with the ignition ON. Otherwise, the vehicle battery may discharge.
- Use a USB cable certified by the manufacturer that is compatible with the digital device being charged.
- Make sure that foreign objects, drinks, and water do not come into contact with the vehicle USB charger. Water or foreign objects may damage the USB charger.
- Do not connect devices that draw more than 2.1 A.
- Do not connect devices that generate excessive electromagnetic noise. This may interrupt the vehicle's audio/AV electronic devices.
- Make sure devices are connected correctly. Improper connection may cause serious damage to the device. Note that damage caused by improper use is not covered by the warranty.
