Wireless Smartphone Charging System

The wireless smartphone charging system is located in front of the center console.
Close all doors firmly and turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position. To start wireless charging, place a smartphone equipped with wireless charging function on the wireless charging pad.
For best wireless charging results, place the smartphone in the center of the wireless charging pad.
The wireless charging system is designed for use only with smartphones equipped with Qi. Please refer to the smartphone accessory cover or the smartphone manufacturer's website to check whether your smartphone supports the Qi function.
WARNING
If any metallic object, such as a coin, is placed between the wireless charging system and the smartphone, charging may be interrupted. The metallic object may also heat up and potentially damage the charging system.
WARNING! Distracted Driving

The primary responsibility of the driver is the safe and legal operation of a vehicle, and the use of any portable devices, other vehicle equipment, or vehicle systems which take the driver's eyes, attention, and focus away from the safe operation of a vehicle or which are not permitted by law should never be used during operation of the vehicle.
Smartphone Wireless Charging
1. Remove any objects from the smart phone charging pad, including the smart key. If there are foreign objects on the pad other than the smartphone, the wireless charging function may not operate properly.
2. Place the smartphone in the center of the wireless charging pad.
3. The indicator light will change to orange when wireless charging starts. After charging is complete, the orange light will change to green.
4. You can turn the wireless charging function ON or OFF by selecting USM on the instrument cluster. (Refer to "Instrument Cluster" for details.)
If wireless charging does not work, carefully move your smartphone around the pad until the charging indicator light turns yellow. Depending on the smartphone, the charging indicator light may not turn green even after charging is complete.
If wireless charging does not operate properly, the orange indicator will blink for ten seconds and then turn off. If this occurs, remove the smartphone from the pad and place it again on the pad, or check the charging status.
If a smartphone is left on the charging pad when the ignition switch is in the OFF position, the vehicle will warn you with warning messages and sounds (applicable to vehicles with voice guidance) after the "Goodbye" function on the instrument cluster ends.
