Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the fuel pump.

    (See Fuel System - "Fuel Pump")

  2. Remove the fuel sender.

    (See Fuel System - "Fuel Sender")

  3. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (A).

  4. Remove the head assembly by releasing the mounting hooks of the cushion (B).

  5. Disconnect the fuel supply tube (A).

  6. Remove the return injector (A) after releasing the hook.

  7. Remove the reservoir cup (B) after releasing the locking hooks (A).

  8. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (C).

  9. Release the locking hooks and remove the pre-filter (A).

  10. Remove the fuel pump motor (A) from the fuel filter.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
