Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Open the fuel filler door.

  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  3. Remove the fuel tank cap (A) after opening the fuel tank flap.

  4. Raise the vehicle.

  5. Remove the left rear wheel, tire, and inner wheel housing (A).

  6. Disconnect the filler hose (A), the balance tube quick-connector (B), and the vent hose (C).

  7. Remove the filler neck assembly after loosening the mounting bolt and nut (A).

    Tightening torque: 7.8–11.8 N·m

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
