Changing the LKA Function
The driver can change the LKA to Lane Departure Warning (LDW) or change the LKA mode between Standard LKA and Active LKA from the User Settings Mode on the LCD display.
The driver can select the mode by setting the ignition switch to the ON position and selecting "User Settings", "Driver Assistance" and "Lane Safety".
The system is set to Standard LKA when your vehicle is first delivered from the factory.
LDW warns the driver with a visual and audible warning when the system detects the vehicle leaving the lane. In this mode, the system does not provide steering inputs. When the front tire of the vehicle touches the inside edge of the lane marking, the LKA system issues a lane departure warning.
Standard LKA
Standard LKA mode helps the driver keep the vehicle within the lane. It provides steering inputs when the vehicle is about to depart from the lane.
Active LKA
Active LKA mode provides more frequent steering control compared to Standard LKA mode. Active LKA can reduce driver fatigue by assisting steering to keep the vehicle in the center of the lane.
