• If there is a problem with the system, a message will appear. If the problem persists, the LKA malfunction indicator will illuminate.

LKA Malfunction Indicator

The LKA malfunction indicator (amber) will illuminate and a warning chime will sound if the LKA is not operating properly. If this occurs, have the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer.

When there is a problem with the system, perform one of the following actions:

  • Turn the system on after the engine is turned off and then started again.
  • Check whether the ignition switch is in the ON position.
  • Check whether the system is affected by weather conditions (e.g., fog, heavy rain, etc.).
  • Check for foreign matter on the camera lens.

If the problem is not resolved, take the vehicle to an authorized Kia dealer and have the system inspected.
