  1. Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least thirty minutes seconds.
  3. Tighten the curtain airbag mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 8.8 N·m

  4. Connect the curtain airbag connector.
  5. Install the headliner. (Refer to Body - Interior group)
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
  7. After installing the curtain airbag (CAB), make sure that the system operates correctly.
    A. Turn the ignition ON; the SRS indicator should illuminate for about six seconds and then go off.
