  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least thirty seconds before starting work.
  2. Remove the glove box housing. (Refer to Body - "Glove Box Housing")
  3. Loosen the passenger airbag module mounting nuts.
  4. Disconnect the passenger airbag connector (A) and the active vent valve connector (B).
  5. Remove the emergency airbag. (Refer to Body - "Main Protector Assembly")
  6. Remove the mounting bolts from the airbag. Then remove the passenger airbag.
