Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the headliner.

    (Refer to Headliner - "Headliner Assembly")

  2. Tilt the sliding glass using the sunroof switch.

  3. Remove both mechanism side covers (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting screws (A) on both sides.

  5. Carefully lift the sliding glass (A) and remove it.

  6. Open the blind by pressing the sunroof switch.

  7. Remove the roller cover (A) after loosening the mounting screw.

  8. Disconnect the roller blind motor connector and the sliding glass motor connector.

  9. Remove the roller blind motor and the sliding glass motor after loosening the mounting screws.

  10. Loosen the mounting screws of the mechanism assembly.

  11. Remove the mechanism guide assembly (A).

  12. Loosen the roller blind guide mounting screw (A).

  13. Remove the roller blind guide (A) from the mechanism guide.

  14. Loosen the mounting screw of the roller blind shoe clamp (A).

  15. Remove the roller blind shoe clamp (A).

  16. Remove the blind bar (B) by pressing the locking pin (A) with a flat-tip screwdriver.

  17. Loosen the drive mounting nuts.

  18. Loosen the blind mounting screws.

  19. Remove the roller blind (A) from the mechanism guide.

  20. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Adjustment

Initialize the mechanism rail.

Follow the instructions below to initialize both side mechanism guides when the mechanism rail and mechanism assembly are removed or installed.

  1. Separate the window regulator (A) from the drive gear after loosening the mounting screws.

  2. Open both mechanism assemblies (A) as wide as possible.

  3. Fully open the window regulator motor by pressing the roof switch after IG ON is displayed.

  4. Install the moving glass motor onto the drive gear.
