Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the sliding glass.

    (Refer to Sunroof — "Sliding Glass")

  2. Open the mechanism (A) more than 100 mm using the sunroof switch.

  3. Remove the front mechanism guide bracket after loosening the mounting screw.

  4. Move the mechanism bracket (A) to position (B) by pressing the roof sunroof switch.

  5. Remove the mechanism shoe (A) from the mechanism guide by pulling in the direction of the arrow.

  6. Position the front sliding shoe (B) as shown in the illustration below by pressing the mechanism assembly (A) in the direction of the arrow.

  7. Remove the front sliding shoe (A) from the mechanism guide by pressing in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  8. Remove the mechanism assembly (A) by pulling in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  9. Installation is the reverse of removal.
