Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the automatic transmission.

    (Refer to Automatic Transmission System - Automatic Transmission)

  2. Remove the drive plate.

    (Refer to Cylinder Block - Drive Plate)

  3. Remove the rear oil seal (A).

  4. Install a new rear oil seal.

    1. Apply engine oil to the lip of the new oil seal.

    2. Using the SST (09214-2W200, 09214-3K100) (B) and a hammer, tap the oil seal (A) until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.

  5. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
