1. Front Seat Belt Pretensioner

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Open the front seat belt lower cover (A) and loosen the mounting bolt.

  2. Remove the lower center pillar trim.

    (See Body Trim — "Center Pillar Trim")

  3. Remove the upper center pillar trim.

    (See Body Trim — "Center Pillar Trim")

  4. Loosen the front seat belt upper anchor mounting bolt and remove the front seat belt upper anchor (A).

    Torque: 39.2 – 54 N·m

  5. Disconnect the airbag connector (A), loosen the mounting bolt, and remove the front seat belt pretensioner (B).

    Torque: 39.2 – 54 N·m

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
