Repair Procedures

Adjustment

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and check that the body and luggage compartment lid are properly aligned.

  2. Loosen the trunk lid hinge mounting bolt (A) and adjust the position of the trunk lid by moving it up and down or from side to side.

  3. Adjust the clearance between the trunk lid and the body by rotating the trunk lid bumpers (B).

  4. Loosen the trunk lid striker mounting bolts (C), adjust the striker by moving it forward and backward or from side to side, then tighten the mounting bolts.

  5. Make sure the trunk lid opens and closes properly.
