1. Trunk Lid Assembly

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the trunk lid trim.

    (Refer to Trunk Lid - "Trunk Lid Trim")

  2. Remove the rear combination lamp.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Rear Combination Lamp")

  3. Disconnect the connectors and the liftgate wiring harness.

  4. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the liftgate assembly (A).

    Tightening torque:

    6.9–8.8 N·m (0.7–0.9 kgf·m, 5.0–6.5 lbf·ft, 60.8–78.1 lbf·in)

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
