1. Liftgate Latch

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the trunk lid trim.

    (Refer to Trunk Lid - "Trunk Lid Trim")

  2. Disconnect the cable (A) and connector (B).

  3. Remove the liftgate latch (A) after loosening the bolts.

    Tightening torque:

    6.9–8.8 N·m (0.7–0.9 kgf·m, 5.0–6.5 lbf·ft, 60.8–78.1 lbf·in)

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
