WARNING
- Always wear appropriate shoes when driving. Inappropriate shoes (high heels, ski boots, etc.) may interfere with the operation of the brake pedal, accelerator pedal, and clutch pedal (if equipped).
- Do not start the vehicle with the accelerator pedal depressed. The vehicle may move and cause an accident.
- Wait until the engine speed is normal. The vehicle may move suddenly if the brake pedal is released while the engine speed is high.
NOTE - Kickdown mechanism (if equipped) The kickdown mechanism prevents unintentional full-throttle driving by requiring the driver to apply more force to press the accelerator pedal. However, if the pedal can be pressed to about 80%, it will be easier to press it fully to reach full throttle. This is not a malfunction but a normal condition.
