Automatic air conditioner

To defog the inside of the windshield

   Set the fan to the desired position.

   Set the desired temperature.

   Press the defrost button.

   The air conditioner is activated based on the detected ambient temperature, and the outside air intake (fresh air) is set automatically.

If the air conditioner and outside air intake (fresh air) do not activate automatically, adjust their respective buttons manually.

If the position () is selected, the fan speed automatically switches from minimum to maximum.

To defrost the outside of the windshield

   Set the fan to maximum speed (fully to the right).
2. 2
   Set the temperature to maximum heating (HI).
3. 3
   Press the defrost button.
4. 4
   The air conditioner is activated based on the detected ambient temperature, and the outside air intake (fresh air) is set automatically.

If the position () is selected, the fan speed automatically switches from minimum to maximum.

Anti-fog logic

To reduce fogging on the inside of the windshield, the outside air intake (fresh air) or air conditioning is controlled automatically based on certain conditions, such as the position ( ) o ( ). To disable or restore the anti-fog logic, proceed as follows.

Automatic air conditioner

   Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

   Press the defrost button ( ).

   While holding down the air conditioning (A/C) button, press the air intake selection button at least 5 times within 3 seconds.

The indicator on the air intake selection button flashes 3 times at 0.5-second intervals. This indicates that the anti-fog logic has been disabled or restored.

If the battery is discharged or disconnected, the anti-fog logic is reset.
