When the light switch is in the AUTO position, the tail lights and headlights automatically turn on or off depending on the amount of light outside the vehicle.

CAUTION

Never place anything on the sensor (1) located on the instrument panel. Keeping the sensor clear ensures the best operation of the automatic light control system.

Do not clean the sensor with glass cleaner. Glass cleaner may leave a light film that can interfere with sensor operation.

If your vehicle has tinted glass or other metallic coatings on the front windshield, the automatic light system may not operate correctly.
