Use the cover to hide items stored in the cargo area.

The cover shelf rises when the luggage compartment door is opened. Disconnect the strap (1) from the holder if you want to return the cover to its original position. To remove the cover shelf completely, lift the cover at an angle of 43 degrees and pull it out completely (2). To install the cover, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

When returning the cover shelf to its original position, hold the cover and lower it.

CAUTION

  • Do not drive the vehicle with the cover removed. This may damage the cover.
  • Since the cover shelf may be damaged or deformed, do not apply excessive force to the cover.

WARNING

Do not place objects on the cover shelf while driving. Such objects may be thrown around inside the vehicle and may injure passengers in an accident or during braking.

Never allow anyone to ride in the luggage compartment. It is designed for luggage only.

Maintain vehicle balance and place weight as far forward as possible.
