Your vehicle is equipped with an emergency release lever for the luggage compartment door, located at the bottom of the tailgate. If someone is accidentally locked in the luggage compartment, the tailgate can be opened by performing the following steps:

1. Insert the mechanical key into the hole.
2. Push the mechanical key to the right.
3. Lift the tailgate.

WARNING

  • No one should be allowed to ride in the trunk at any time. The trunk is a very dangerous place in the event of a collision.
  • Use the release lever only in emergencies. Use with extreme caution, especially while the vehicle is moving.
