Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. After connecting the washer motor to the reservoir, fill the reservoir with washer fluid.

  2. Remove the engine room cover.

    D 1.4 U2 TCI (See Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Cover")

    G 1.0 T-GDI KAPPA (See Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Cover")

    G 1.2 MPI KAPPA (See Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Cover")

    G 1.4 MPI KAPPA (See Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Cover")

  3. Remove the front wheel guard [RH].

    (Refer to Body - "Front Wheel Guard")

  4. Connect the positive (+) battery cable to terminal 3 and the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 2, respectively.

  5. Make sure the wiper motor operates normally, the washer motor operates, and water sprays from the front nozzles.

  6. If abnormal, replace the washer motor.
