When the light switch is in the ON or AUTO position and all doors (and the tailgate) are closed and locked, pressing the UNLOCK button on the transmitter (or Smart Key) will turn on the headlights for approximately 15 seconds.

If the headlight switch is in the AUTO position, this function may operate only at night.

During this time, if you press the UNLOCK button or LOCK button on the transmitter (or Smart Key) again, the headlights turn off immediately.

❈ Driving Side Change (for Europe) The low beam light distribution is asymmetrical. If you drive abroad to a country with the opposite driving side, this asymmetrical part will dazzle the drivers of oncoming vehicles. To prevent glare, ECE regulations require some technical solutions (for example, an automatic switching system, self-adhesive film, or downward direction). These headlights are designed so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers. Therefore, you do not need to change the headlights in a country with the opposite driving side.
