Seat belts can be cleaned by wiping them with a sponge lightly dampened with a mild soap solution. Allow the seat belts to dry completely in the shade before using them. Refer to the "Seat belt care" section in the "Safety - Seats, Seat Belts and Supplemental Restraint System" chapter of this manual.

WARNING

Do not allow seat belts to retract into the retractor if they are wet. NEVER use bleach, dye or chemical solvents as cleaners on seat belts, as these products could seriously weaken the webbing.
