Cleaning the vehicle interior surfaces
In this manual: Appearance and care
~1min read
Occasionally use a vacuum cleaner or a soft-bristle brush to remove dust from the interior trim, plastic parts and seats. Wipe vinyl and leather surfaces with a clean cloth that has been lightly dampened with a mild soap solution, then wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
Regular care and cleaning help preserve the appearance of the leather.
Before using any fabric protector, read the manufacturer's recommendations.
Some fabric protectors contain chemicals that may stain or discolor seat fabric.
Use a cloth dampened with water only to clean the protective lens of the gauges.
WARNING
- NEVER use benzene, solvent or any similar product.
- Small dirt particles can be abrasive and damage leather surfaces, so they must be removed promptly. DO NOT use leather soap, car wax, polish, oil, liquid cleaner, solvent, detergent or ammonia-based cleaner, as they may damage the natural finish of the leather.
- NEVER use fabric protection products unless their use is recommended by the manufacturer.
- DO NOT use glass or plastic cleaners on the protective lens of the gauges and instrument panel. These products could damage the protective lens.
