WARNING

To avoid interfering with pedal movement, which could cause a collision or injury:

  • NEVER place a floor mat on top of another floor mat in the driver's front position.
  • Use only genuine NISSAN floor mats designed specifically for your vehicle model. Consult your NISSAN dealer for more information.
  • Place the floor mats correctly in the footwell using the floor mat anchor. Refer to "Floor mat anchors" in this chapter.

Using genuine NISSAN floor mats helps keep your vehicle's carpet in good condition and makes interior cleaning easier. Floor mats should be cleaned regularly and replaced if excessively worn.

Floor mat anchors

To help keep the floor mats in place, this vehicle is equipped with two front driver's side floor mat anchors and one front passenger's side floor mat anchor. Genuine NISSAN floor mats are specifically designed for your vehicle model. The driver's side mat has two holes and the passenger's side mat has one hole. Position each mat by engaging the holes with the anchors while centering it in the footwell.

Check the floor mats regularly to make sure they are properly positioned.
