Méthodes de remorquage recommandées par NISSAN

NISSAN recommends two towing methods for your vehicle: with the drive wheels (front) raised, or on a flatbed truck (full towing), as illustrated.

WARNING

Never tow a vehicle equipped with a continuously variable transmission with the front wheels or all four wheels on the ground (whether the vehicle is towed from the front or the rear), as the transmission could be seriously damaged. If towing the vehicle with the rear wheels raised is necessary, always make sure to install tow dollies under the front wheels.

When towing continuously variable transmission (CVT) models with the front wheels on tow dollies:

  • Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and lock the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position using a rope or similar device.
  • Place the selector lever in the N (Neutral) position.

When towing continuously variable transmission (CVT) models with the rear wheels on the ground (without using tow dollies): always release the parking brake.
