Steering wheel height and reach adjustment
Pull lever 1 and position the steering wheel as required; push the lever beyond the stop point to lock the steering wheel.
Make sure the steering wheel is properly locked.
For safety reasons, carry out this adjustment with the vehicle stationary.
Power steering
Never drive with a weakly charged battery.
Variable assist steering
Variable assist steering features an electronically controlled system that adjusts the level of assistance according to vehicle speed.
The steering is lighter when maneuvering or parking (for comfort), while the effort increases progressively with speed (for better safety at high speed).
With the engine stopped or in the event of a system failure, the steering wheel can still be turned. The effort required will be greater.
Never switch off the engine going downhill or, in general, while driving (power assistance is lost).
