  • Rather than warming up the engine while stationary, it is better to drive gently, without placing a heavy load on the engine, until it reaches its correct operating temperature.
  • Fast driving is expensive.
  • "Sporty" driving is expensive, so it is recommended to drive "smoothly".
  • Do not let the engine rev too high when changing gear.

Drive in the highest possible gear.

  • Avoid sudden acceleration.
  • Do not brake unnecessarily.
  • Therefore, when you spot an obstacle or a bend in advance, use engine braking by simply releasing the accelerator pedal.
  • When driving uphill, do not try to maintain a constant speed or accelerate more than on flat ground: it is best to keep the accelerator pedal at a constant position.
  • Pressing the clutch several times and revving the engine before switching off is unnecessary in modern vehicles.
  • Driving in bad weather, on flooded roads:
  • Do not drive on roads where the water reaches above the lower edge of the wheel rims.

Obstruction of pedal operation On the driver's side, only use floor mats designed for the vehicle, which can be secured to the anchoring points fitted at the factory for this purpose. Check regularly that they are correctly secured. Never place several floor mats on top of each other.

    Risk of pedals becoming jammed
