DEPOSE

REMOVAL

With the vehicle on its wheels, remove the lower mounting bolt (1).

Raise the vehicle and remove:

  • the wheel,
  • the upper mounting bolt (2),
Amortisseur
  • the shock absorber.

PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE BEFORE INSTALLATION

Shock absorbers are stored horizontally in parts warehouses.

Under these conditions, shock absorbers designed to work vertically may become unprimed.

Therefore, before installing them on the vehicle, simply pump the shock absorber by hand a few times in the vertical position.

INSTALLATION

Refit:

  • the shock absorber,
  • the upper mounting bolt coated with MOLYKOTE BR2 grease, without tightening it,
  • the wheel.

Lower the vehicle.

Position the lower mounting bolt coated with MOLYKOTE BR2 grease.

Tighten both bolts to torque.
