Arm bearings
REAR TORSION BEAM AXLE
This operation is performed after removing the rear arms and suspension bars.
REMOVAL
Fully immerse the bearing in brake fluid to soften the rubber of the elastic bushing.

Using a two- or three-jaw puller, extract the outer part of the bearing by tearing out the rubber.

Saw through the inner sleeve, taking care not to scratch the arm tube.

REFITTING
Fit the bearing into the arm using a press, respecting the orientation and the spacing relative to the arm.
Direction
Observe dimension "X" between the bearing contact face and the hub axis:
X = 156 mm ± 3.5

Spacing
In this position, press the bearing in until the bearing centre distance is obtained:
Y = 1164 mm ± 1

Fit the arm to the vehicle.
REAR FOUR-BAR AXLE
This operation is performed after removing the rear axle and suspension bars.
REMOVAL
Weld a spacer (example: nut) into the central tube of the bushing.

Extract the bushing-bearing assembly using a press.
REFITTING
Fit the bearing into the arm using a press, respecting the orientation and the spacing relative to the arm.
Direction
Observe dimension "X" between the bearing contact face and the hub axis.
X = 124 ± 3.5 mm

Spacing
In this position, press the bearing in until the bearing centre distance is obtained:
Y = 1164 ± 1 mm

Refit the rear axle on the vehicle and reconnect the suspension links (see the corresponding section).
