• Ignition off, slightly lift wiper arm 2;
• pull tab 1 upward;
• slide the blade in the direction of the arrow.

To refit, reverse the procedure and make sure the blade is correctly clipped in place.

• Ignition on, engine off, fully lower the wiper control: the wipers stop in a position clear of the bonnet;
• lift wiper arm 5, pull tab 4 (movement A) and push the blade upward.

Refitting

Slide the blade along the arm until it clicks. Make sure the blade is securely locked. Return the wiper control to the off position.

Check the condition of the wiper blades.

Their service life depends on you:

• clean the blades, windscreen and rear window regularly with soapy water;
• do not use them when the windscreen or rear window is dry;
• release them from the windscreen or rear window when they have not been used for a long time.

Swing-door versions B

• Ignition off, lift wiper arm 8;
• rotate blade 6;
• press tab 7;
• release the blade by pulling it (arrow).

To refit, reverse the procedure and make sure the blade is correctly clipped in place.

Tailgate versions C

• Ignition off, lift wiper arm 9;
• rotate blade 10 until resistance is felt;
• release the blade by pulling it (arrow).

To refit, reverse the procedure and make sure the blade is correctly clipped in place.

• In freezing weather, make sure the wiper blades are not frozen to the glass (risk of motor overheating).
• Check the condition of the wiper blades. Replace them as soon as their efficiency decreases: approximately once a year.

When replacing the wiper blade, take care not to let the arm drop onto the windscreen once the blade is removed: risk of breaking the windscreen.
