Idle speed correction
F4R
I - IDLE SPEED CORRECTION BASED ON COOLANT TEMPERATURE

(1) Except when starting between 15 °C and 30 °C.
II - ELECTRICAL CORRECTION BASED ON BATTERY VOLTAGE AND ELECTRICAL LOAD BALANCE
This correction compensates for the voltage drop caused by switching on consumers when the battery is weakly charged. It starts when voltage falls below 12.7 volts and can increase engine speed by a maximum of 160 rpm, i.e. 910 rpm.
III - IDLE SPEED CORRECTION IN CASE OF INTAKE MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR FAULT
If the intake manifold pressure sensor is faulty, the idle speed is raised to 1024 rpm.
Note: If the engine is started when the coolant temperature is between 15 °C and 30 °C and the engine speed then remains at idle, a gradual drop in speed may be noticed. This speed drop is due to an anti-pollution function active at startup (activation of the oxygen sensor heating elements).K4J
